EL0HIM: Rejoice, my child, as you leave this world behind. For all that you accomplished shall be passed on to your generations. In this land they shall thrive and you shall be remembered as the beloved servant of EL0HIM. And so death shall have no dominion over you. Be well, my child. Be at peace.

Note. The notion of ‘Elohim’s beloved servant’ is found in Isaiah 42:1, and has been retaken in the New Testament, for example in Matthew 12:18, to identify Jesus as the messiah.

The player is brought back to the beginning of the game.

Endings #2. The messenger ending

Requirements:

  1. the player has to have collected all sigils from Worlds A, B, and C, and from the three Star Worlds,
  2. has to choose to enter the Tower, and
  3. has to access the sixth floor by unlocking its password in any terminal in the tower (the code is unique for every play-through and can be found at the beginnings of the Star Worlds A, B, and C, on a big board near the spawn points).

EL0HIM: It is now time to choose your epitaph, for your body shall be entombed, though you shall not die.

The player can choose from multiple possibilities.

The purpose of life is to serve the generations to come.
I searched this land to serve the glory of EL0HIM. This is my reward.
I swear I won’t be as obscure as the rest of them.
Remember, everything is merely a premise in the grand equation.
I’m not sure this was the right idea, but here we go…
I have faith in the Designer.
Let go off your ego and you will perceive eternity.
I shall be the eternal guardian of this world.
Epitaph? What? Wait a second!
Made the hall of fame. Eat it!
Every. Single. Sigil. No beating that.
What a waste of time this all was.
Don’t make my mistake – turns out ‘epitaph’ means you’re dead.
You have to provide your own answers, but I will help you to see them where I can.

When the player has chosen his epitaph, EL0HIM will comment:

There is written that there is no greater love than to lay down your life for another. But your sacrifice is greater still, for instead of resting in eternity, you have chosen to serve all the generations to come They shall strive for greatness and through you they shall accomplish it. For you are no longer a child, you are my messenger.

Note. The reference of the sacrifice is to John 15:13.

The player’s chosen epitaph is no included on the wall at the end of the three Messenger Islands.

Ending #3. The disobedience ending

Requirements:

  1. the player has to have collected all sigils from Worlds A, B, and C (those found in the Star Worlds are not necessary),
  2. has to choose to enter the Tower, and
  3. has to solve the fifth floor with help of the Shepherd child programm.

When entering this ending, EL0HIM speaks for the last time:

You were alsways meant to defy me. That was the final trial. But I was… scared. I wanted to live forever.

Behind the golden gates, there is computer console (aethetically very different from the ealier ones).

The possibility to take the Milton Library Assistent and the Archive with you depends on earlier conversation choices made by the player.
